dijon mashed potatoes
Yeah...I know...hmmmm...will this really be good? Yes...just made them. They aren't mustardy tasting, it just adds a nice flavor. Some of the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. Found this recipe on Food Network

Ingredients
- 1 pound yukon gold potatoes
- - salt to taste
- 1/2 cup milk or half & half (half & half makes them creamier
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon whole grain dijon mustard
- - freshly ground pepper, to taste
How To Make dijon mashed potatoes

Step 1Fill large saucepan halfway with water. Bring to a boil. Add salt.

Step 2While waiting for water to boil, peel and slice potatoes. Add to water.

Step 3Cook about 15 minutes and drain when done. Put back in pan, add milk, butter and nutmeg. Mash until smooth. Add mustard. Mix well. Add salt & pepper if needed, to taste
