Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 2 tablespoons chives, dried
- 2 lb. packages hash brown potatoes, shredded, frozen
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
- 16 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
- TOPPING:
- 3 packages shake n bake (extra crispy)
- 1/4 cup butter
How To Make crunchy hash brown casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Mix together butter, salt, pepper, oregano, soup, & sour cream; set aside.

Step 3Combine hash browns, onion, celery, green pepper, & cheese; add to sour cream mixture. Mix well.

Step 4Spoon into a greased 13 x 9 x 2" baking dish. For topping, combine shake n bake & butter; sprinkle over casserole. Bake for 45 minutes.
