Ingredients

  • 2 - 3 pounds boneless pork roast
  • 2/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium
  • 2 tablespoons basil, dried
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water, cold
  • SERVE WITH:
  • - mashed potatoes

How To Make crock pot parmesan honey pork roast

  • Step 1
    Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray or reynolds slow cooker bag.
  • Step 2
    Place roast in slow cooker.
  • Step 3
    In a small bowl, combine the cheese, honey, soy sauce, basil, garlic, oil & salt; pour over pork. Cover & cook on low for 6 - 7 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 160 degrees F.
  • Step 4
    Remove meat to a serving platter; keep warm.
  • Step 5
    Skim fat from cooking juices; transfer to a small saucepan. Bring liquid to a boil. Combine cornstarch & water until smooth. Gradually stir into pan. Bring to a boil; cook & stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
  • Step 6
    Slice roast; serve with gravy & mashed potatoes (& the gravy was delicious on the mashed potatoes!).
