Ingredients

  • 12 - medium sized red potatoes
  • 6 to 8 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 6 tablespoons salted butter
  • - salt to taste

How To Make crock pot garlic mashed potatoes

  • Step 1
    wash and quarter potatoes with shin on. Cover with water and cook on stove top till fork tender.
  • Step 2
    With hand masher, mash potatoes, you want some lumps.
  • Step 3
    Add minced garlic, cream cheese, sour cream and butter. If you want them to be thinner you can add more sour cream or a little half and half. Salt to taste.
  • Step 4
    Put potatoes in crock pot and turn on low to keep warm till served.
