    medium sized red potatoes
  • 6 to 8 clove
    fresh garlic minced
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 6 Tbsp
    salted butter
  • ·
    salt to taste

How to Make Crock Pot Garlic Mashed Potatoes


  1. wash and quarter potatoes with shin on. Cover with water and cook on stove top till fork tender.
  2. With hand masher, mash potatoes, you want some lumps.
  3. Add minced garlic, cream cheese, sour cream and butter. If you want them to be thinner you can add more sour cream or a little half and half. Salt to taste.
  4. Put potatoes in crock pot and turn on low to keep warm till served.
