crock pot cheesy potatoes & ham
My husband doesn't like sour cream in his cheesy potatoes, so I was experimenting with different combinations to get the creamy texture without using sour cream. Mission accomplished with this great side dish!

Ingredients
- 2 pounds frozen, shredded hashbrowns
- 3 cups diced, cooked ham
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onion (optional)
- 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon, dissolved in 3/4 cup boiling water
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

How To Make crock pot cheesy potatoes & ham

Step 1Put everything but cream cheese and butter in a crock pot. Mix well. Cut up cream cheese and butter into cubes. Dot over top of potatoes.

Step 2Cook on High for 2 hours, stirring periodically. Reduce heat to low and cook for 2 more hours. Can also cook this in the oven at 325 for 1 1/2 hours.
