Ingredients

  • 5 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into one inch cubes ( i left the skin on mine, as we like them that way )
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt - i use kosher
  • 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted - 1/2 stick
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 - bay leaf

How To Make crispy potato cubes

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 450 degree F.
  • Step 2
    In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the flour, salt,garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, marjoram and pepper. Add potatoes; seal bag and shake to coat.
  • Step 3
    our butter into a 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish; stir in the garlic.
  • Step 4
    Add potatoes and bay leaf, spread evenly. Cover and bake at 450° for 20 minutes. Uncover and stir; bake 20 - 25 minutes longer or until potatoes are lightly browned and tender. Discard the bay leaf. I then place them in a serving bowl, and give a small sprinkling of kosher salt.
