  • 6 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup creme fraiche
  • GRAVY
  • 1 package dry onion soup
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup water

How To Make creme fraiche mashed potatoes with everyday gravy

  • Step 1
    Place the potatoes in a large pot of cold water that has been salted. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are soft.

    Drain and push through a ricer.
  • Step 3
    Add the warm milk and creme fraiche.
  • Step 4
    Whip until smooth and fluffy. Taste and season.
  • Step 5
    To make the gravy, add the water to a pan and bring to a boil. Add the onion soup mix and butter.
