- 6 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup creme fraiche
- GRAVY
- 1 package dry onion soup
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make creme fraiche mashed potatoes with everyday gravy

Step 1Place the potatoes in a large pot of cold water that has been salted. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are soft.

Step 2Drain and push through a ricer.

Step 3Add the warm milk and creme fraiche.

Step 4Whip until smooth and fluffy. Taste and season.

Step 5To make the gravy, add the water to a pan and bring to a boil. Add the onion soup mix and butter.

Step 6Mix the flour and water together and use them to thicken the gravy.
