creamy mashed potatoes

I discovered this recipe on accident, just decided to take my recipe for twice baked potatoes and make mashed potatoes out of it! I use all different types of potatoes with this, from baker's to reds, whites and yellows! I even used Purple ones once!

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1/2 stick butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 package cream cheese
  • - salt, to taste
  • - pepper, to taste
  • - mrs. dash's seasoning, to taste

How To Make creamy mashed potatoes

  • Step 1
    Boil potatoes with a pinch of salt until fork tender, drain and let sit on hot burner for a few moments to burn off some of the steam
  • Step 2
    Place in bowl and mash, add in butter and cream cheese until well mixed. Then add salt, pepper and Mrs. Dash's to taste!
