These are an awesome variation of regular potatoes.

Now, these are some creamy Crock Pot potatoes. Once you cook the bacon, everything is dumped into the slow cooker, so it's an easy dish to prep. Super cheesy and full of flavor (and bacon bits!), these are good enough for the holidays or an easy side dish for a weeknight meal. You could even serve leftovers for breakfast.

Ingredients For creamy crock pot hash browns

  • 2 lb
    package frozen, cubed hash brown potatoes
  • 8 oz
    shredded Velveeta (cheddar can be used)
  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 1 can
    cream of celery soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 lb
    bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 lg
    onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper, or more to your taste

If you like your onions cooked down, we suggest sauteeing them in a skillet before adding them to the slow cookers. Ours were still slightly crunchy when all other ingredients were done.
  • Frozen potatoes in a Crock Pot.

    Place potatoes in a greased Crock Pot.
  • Remaining ingredients in a bowl.

    In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients.
  • Ingredients added to the slow cooker.

    Pour over potatoes and mix well.
  • Cooking potatoes in the slow cooker.

    Cover. Cook on low for 3-4 hours or until potatoes are tender and heated through.
