creamed peas and potatos
This was my moms recipe. My favorite side dish.

Ingredients
- 1 pound small new potatos
- 11/2 cups frozen baby peas
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup milk
How To Make creamed peas and potatos

Step 1Peel and boil potatoes. Don't overcook. Drain. Set aside. Boil the peas until tender.

Step 2In a saucepan, add the onion and the butter. Cook until the onions are tender. Add the flour, salt and pepper. Stir until well mixed. Add the milk. Stir until well blended.

Step 3Continue to stir and simmer until mixture has thickened. Cook for 1 more minute. Add the sugar while simmering. Add the peas and potatoes to the sauce. Stir well till heated thoroughly.
