Recipe given to me by a dear friend! My 97 year old Mom & I love these, and it is so simple to make!

Ingredients For country taters
-
1/2 lbbacon
-
1 1/2 dashcrushed red pepper
-
2 1/2 cdiced sweet potatoes
-
salt and pepper to taste
-
1/4 cwater
-
Meddiced onion
How To Make country taters

1Cook bacon slowly with just a dab of crushed red pepper. When about half done, drain bacon & pour off some of the grease.

2Put bacon back into the pan with diced sweet potatoes & salt & pepper to taste. (Can also use Morton's Natures Seasoning! This is what I use to season almost every thing I cook!)

3Add a bit of water & cook, covered until almost done. Add onions & cook until soft. ENJOY!
