1 1/2 dash(es)crushed red pepper
2 1/2 cdiced sweet potatoes
·salt and pepper to taste
How to Make Country Taters
- Cook bacon slowly with just a dab of crushed red pepper. When about half done, drain bacon & pour off some of the grease.
- Put bacon back into the pan with diced sweet potatoes & salt & pepper to taste. (Can also use Morton's Natures Seasoning! This is what I use to season almost every thing I cook!)
- Add a bit of water & cook, covered until almost done. Add onions & cook until soft.
