Ingredients

2 lb
pkg oreida potatoes o'brien (thawed)
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 stick
butter (melted)
1 pkg
shredded velveeta cheese
1 small
container of sour cream
1/2 tsp
salt
pinch
black pepper
1 pkg
crushed ritz or towne house crackers

How to Make Country Style Hashbrown Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease or spray oblong casserole dish.
  • 2Spread thawed potatoes on bottom of casserole dish evenly. Sprinkle salt and pepper over potatoes.
  • 3In a mixing bowl, combine soup, butter and sour cream and mix well. Pour mixture over potatoes.
  • 4Layer shredded cheese over mixture and cover top with crushed crackers.
  • 5Bake for about 45 minutes or until top is golden brown and bubbly. Let set for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
