I use to make this for my grandpa who passed away a little over a year ago. It was one of his favorite dishes that I made. I still think of him everytime I make it. It is a simple dish but has alot of flavor. Give it a try.

Add to Grocery List

  • 1-2
    thin steaks, left hole or cut into chunks
  • 1/2-1 c
    onions, sliced
  • 1/4-1/2 c
    butter or margarine
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 4-5
    potatoes, cut into chunks
  • ·
    garlic powder, to taste
  • ·
    salt, to taste
  • ·
    pepper, to taste

How to Make Country Steak & Potatoes


  1. In a oven safe dish add steak, onions, potatoes, butter or margarine and worchestershire sauce. And garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Bake covered in a 375 degree oven until potatoes are fork tender. Serve
  3. Do not add any extra liquid.
