potatoes peeled & cubed
cabbage head chopped
1Put potatoes in sauce pan with enough water to cover.Bring to boil, cook till tender.15 or 20 minutes.
2Cook bacon in skillet till crisp,and save drippings.
3crumble bacon and set aside,In bacon drippings or olive oil saute onion and cabbage till soft and translucent,about 10 minutes.
4Drain potatoes,mash with milk,season with salt/pepper,bacon, cabbage & onions.Transfer to serving bowl,melt butter and make a well in center and pour in butter. Serves 8 Enjoy!
