In my families, my husband and I are the foodies. So it's a common gift to get a cookbook for Christmas. One year, my mum-in-law gave me a Gooseberry Patch Meals in Minutes cookbook, and this was one of the first recipes we made. It's hearty and scrumptious, dripping with cheese and spiced with flavored potatoes. Best served to a large crowd.

Ingredients

  • 32 ounces frozen seasoned potato wedges
  • 1/2 cup butter, sliced
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 9 ounces can diced green chilies
  • 12 ounces pkg shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
  • 10 3/4 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream

How To Make chile-cheese 'taters

  • Step 1
    Arrange a layer of potato wedges in the bottom of a greased 13" x 9" baking pan; dot with butter. Combine remaining ingredients; spread over potato wedges. Bake at 350*F for 45 to 60 minutes.
