Ingredients
- 6 medium 6 potatos peeled and quartered
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chives
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup french fried onions
- 2 tablespoons bacon bits
How To Make chessy mashed potato casserole

Step 1Heat over to 325 degrees. Grease 9 by 13 casserole dish with butter.

Step 2Peel potatos and cut and cube add salt and boil in 2 quart pan and boil potato until done or 20 minutes, drain. Then put back in pan on stove so potatoes dry.

Step 3Mash the potatoes with potatoes with potato masher or mixer, add the melted butter, sour cream, cheese,chives and salt.

Step 4Mash or stir until mixed well. Spoon the mixture into greashed casserole dish. bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until hot. Remove from oven and sprinkle french fried onions and bacon bits over top and bake an 5 minutes.
