Ingredients

  • 1 pound polish sausage, cooked
  • 2/3 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 box scalloped potatoes
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 3 cups water
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 2 1/2 cups bell pepper mix (green, red, and yellow)

How To Make cheesy spicy sausage & peppers skillet

  • Step 1
    Cook sausage and onion in 12-inch skillet until sausage is browned and onion is tender, stirring frequently. Drain off drippings.
  • Step 2
    Add water, milk, sauce mix, potato slices, ground cayenne pepper, and butter. Mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 3
    Stir in bell pepper mix; simmer an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes and peppers are tender.
