Cheesy Ranch "Crack" Potatoes

I had been searching for a dish for a picnic party I was hosting and had come across this recipe, the ingredient that really hooked me was the ranch dressing packet, I knew it had to be good! Not only is it delicious but it's so super easy to prepare, something that's always a plus!

*Note: This dish can be made ahead of time, just add 15 minutes to baking time~

packaged shredded hashbrowns (i buy the 15 ounce bags in the refrigerated section)
2 pt
sour cream, lite
1 pkg
1 ounce pkg. dry ranch dressing mix
2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c
onion, diced
10 slice
bacon, cooked till crispy and crumbled


1Preheat oven to 400* and grease a 9 x 13 baking dish
2In a large bowl combine sour cream, ranch mix, crumbled bacon, and onion, mix well. Then add shredded hashbrowns and stir until everything is evenly incorperated.
3Pour mixture into prepared baking dish and spread evenly, bake for @ 45 minutes.
