This is really great for a side dish. or sometimes I add about a cup of cubed left over ham for a main dish. When my boys were small, I made this many times because they always ate real good when we had this.

Ingredients For cheesy potatoes

3 to 4 lgrusset potatoes

2 ccheddar cheese
-
1 ccolby cheese
-
1 smonion
-
2 1/2 chalf and half
-
2 Tbspcelery seed

4 clovegarlic

1 1/2 tspsalt
-
1 tsppepper
-
1 tspred pepper (opt)

3 Tbspveg oil
-
2 tspbutter
-
1/2 cmilk
How To Make cheesy potatoes

1put oil and butter in large frying pan. Heat.

2Scrub and partially peel potatoes. cut and slice them 3/4 inch thick.

3cut and sliver onion.

4add potatoes ,onions, garlic, salt and pepper to oil and brown.

5Pour half and half over potatoes.
-
6top with celery seed, red pepper, and cheeses. cook on low for about 20 mins with lid on.

7if it gets dry, add milk.

8serve
