cheesy potatoes
This is really great for a side dish. or sometimes I add about a cup of cubed left over ham for a main dish. When my boys were small, I made this many times because they always ate real good when we had this.

Ingredients
- 3 to 4 large russet potatoes
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 cup colby cheese
- 1 small onion
- 2 1/2 cups half and half
- 2 tablespoons celery seed
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon red pepper (opt)
- 3 tablespoons veg oil
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 1/2 cup milk
How To Make cheesy potatoes

Step 1put oil and butter in large frying pan. Heat.

Step 2Scrub and partially peel potatoes. cut and slice them 3/4 inch thick.

Step 3cut and sliver onion.

Step 4add potatoes ,onions, garlic, salt and pepper to oil and brown.

Step 5Pour half and half over potatoes.

Step 6top with celery seed, red pepper, and cheeses. cook on low for about 20 mins with lid on.

Step 7if it gets dry, add milk.
