These are a family favorite and are known as Mom Dutcher's Cheesy Potatoes (my mom). I don't think she made up the recipe as I have seen several variations. Every time we go to someone's house, this recipe is requested.

sour cream
1 can(s)
campbell's cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s)
campbell's cream of chicken soup
16 oz
shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Cheesy Potatoes


  • 1Make sure your potatoes are thawed before beginning this recipe.
  • 2Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 3In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together.
  • 4Spray a 9x13 glass baking dish with cooking oil spray.
  • 5Pour the entire potato mixture into the baking dish.
  • 6Dot generously with butter.
  • 7Bake for one hour or until the top is bubbly and brown.
  • 8Serve immediately.
