These potatoes were first tried at a church potluck. My whole family couldn't wait for the next potluck to come because we knew these potatoes would be there. They are delicious. You just have to try. The nice thing about making this recipe is that it can be done the night before when everything seems to be a rush the day that you want them.

Ingredients For cheesy potatoes

  • 5 lb
    pre-cooked shredded potatoes
  • 1 pt
    cream
  • 1 can
    evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    garlic salt
  • american cheese

How To Make cheesy potatoes

  • 1
    Set oven for 350 F. if you are going to bake now. Spray a 9x13 baking pan. Blend together cream, evaporated milk salt & garlic salt together. Set aside.

    Spread shredded potatoes on bottom of pan, then a layer of grated or small cubes of cheese on top of potatoes. Pour sauce over top. Cover & bake for 45 min. (Can be prepared the night before.)
