This is a great recipe from my friend, Molley. It's an easy and delicious side dish, with a hearty flavor. It goes well with beef, chicken and pork. You can alter spices to suit your family's taste. I've experimented with chives, rosemary, and tarragon, as well.

Ingredients
- 6 - potatoes
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- - salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 3 slices cooked bacon
How To Make cheesy potatoes

Step 1Boil potatoes in salted water until tender.

Step 2Place potatoes in 13 x 9 baking dish. Slice into cubes with sharp knife.

Step 3Pour melted butter or margarine over potatoes.

Step 4Season with garlic, salt and pepper.

Step 5Top with grated cheese and crumbled bacon.

Step 6Bake at 350 degrees for thirty minutes, or until browned and bubbly.
