This is my grandma's recipe that my family has nicknamed "Cheesy Potatoes." They are a staple for every holiday and always the first dish to disappear. It wouldn't be the same holiday meal without them. But I must say they are great with any meal! So creamy and cheesy...

Ingredients

  • 1 - 32 oz bag frozen southern style hash browns (not the shredded kind)
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 3 tablespoons diced onions
  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • FOR TOPPING
  • - crushed cornflakes
  • 1 stick melted butter

How To Make cheesy potatoes

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients for the potatoes in a large bowl, then pour into a greased 13 x 9 pan.
  • Step 2
    Add the crushed corn flakes to the top of the potatoes, then pour the melted butter on top of that.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350 for 1 hr.
