This meatloaf is very good and is a SECOND PLACE WINNER . It goes great with green beans and mashed potatoes. and a tall glass of southern style ice tea

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 - egg lightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3/4 cup cheddar and monterey jack shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup parmesan shredded cheese

How To Make cheesy meatloaf

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl combine all ingredients, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Shape meat mixture into a loaf on a broiler pan.
  • Step 3
    Bake 60 minutes or until meatloaf is cooked to medium doneness. Sprinkle with cheddar and Monterey Jack shredded cheese and Parmesan shredded cheese, and bake until cheese is melted.
  • Step 4
    Let meatloaf stand 10 minutes before serving. The meatloaf is medium well to well done when it is 150 to 165 degrees in the center.
