This meatloaf is very good and is a SECOND PLACE WINNER . It goes great with green beans and mashed potatoes. and a tall glass of southern style ice tea

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 medium
    onion chopped
  • 3/4 c
    fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1
    egg lightly beaten
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 3/4 c
    cheddar and monterey jack shredded cheese
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan shredded cheese

How to Make CHEESY MEATLOAF

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl combine all ingredients, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Shape meat mixture into a loaf on a broiler pan.
  3. Bake 60 minutes or until meatloaf is cooked to medium doneness. Sprinkle with cheddar and Monterey Jack shredded cheese and Parmesan shredded cheese, and bake until cheese is melted.
  4. Let meatloaf stand 10 minutes before serving. The meatloaf is medium well to well done when it is 150 to 165 degrees in the center.
