new red potatoes
2 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin
1 tsp
sea salt & freshly cracked black pepper
1/2 c
olive oil mayonnaise
5-6 slice
ready bacon, chopped
6 oz
aged white cheddar, grated
1 tsp
seafood seasoning-to taste
2 pinch
thyme, dried
zest of 1 lemon
1/2 lb
lump crab meat

How to Make Cheesy Crabby Bacony Roasted Taters


  • 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Add olive oil, salt and pepper to a mixing bowl. Throw in potatoes and toss.
  • 2Place potatoes on a large cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until fork tender.
  • 3Slice potatoes in half and scoop out the flesh. Place potato halves back on cookies sheet. Mash potatoes in a mixing bowl. Add mayo, bacon, cheese, seafood seasoning, thyme and zest. Mix well. Fold in crab meat.
  • 4Place potato mixture in potato halves and bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is ooey & gooey.
