Ingredients

  • 2 pounds yukon gold potatoe
  • 1 pound sliced provolone
  • 1 pound shredded 3 cheese mix
  • 4 ounces shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup crumbled bacon
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 quart heavy manufactoring cream (40% milk fat)

How To Make cheesy augratin potatoes

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 350
  • Step 2
    lightly butter a deep lasagna pan or 9x13 deep pan
  • Step 3
    thinly slice potaotoes at about 1/4 inch thickness
  • Step 4
    layer potatoes across bottom of pan than a layer of provolone, shredded cheese and a sprinkle of bacon, a sprinkle of parmesean. repeat until top of dish is reached with potatoe as the last layer
  • Step 5
    mix cream, salt, pepper and any remaining bacon. Pour mixture over potatoes. Sprinkle last ounce of parmesean across top. dust with paprika.
  • Step 6
    bake for 1 hour. than check. should be crispy on edges golden brown in middle.
