Ingredients

3 large
baking potatoes
salt and pepper to taste
5 TO 6
slices of bacon, cooked crisp
1 medium
onion, chopped
8 oz
(2 cups) grated cheddar cheese
garlic powder
1/4 c
butter

How to Make CHEESED POTATOES IN FOIL

Step-by-Step

  • 1PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. SLICE POTATOES INTO 1/4 INCH PIECES ONTO FOIL. SPRINKLE WITH SALT AND PEPPER. CRUMBLE BACON OVER TOP AND ADD ONION, CHEESE AND GARLIC POWDER. ADD SLICES OF BUTTER OVER THE TOP OF EACH PACKET.
  • 2BRING EDGES OF FOIL UP, LEAVING SPACE FOR EXPANSION OF STEAM, SEAL WELL WITH DOUBLE FOLD.
  • 3BAKE FOR 1 HOUR. IF DESIRED, MAY BE COOKED ON THE GRILL.
