- 5 TO 6 - slices of bacon, cooked crisp
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 8 ounces (2 cups) grated cheddar cheese
- - garlic powder
- 1/4 cup butter
How To Make cheesed potatoes in foil

Step 1PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. SLICE POTATOES INTO 1/4 INCH PIECES ONTO FOIL. SPRINKLE WITH SALT AND PEPPER. CRUMBLE BACON OVER TOP AND ADD ONION, CHEESE AND GARLIC POWDER. ADD SLICES OF BUTTER OVER THE TOP OF EACH PACKET.

Step 2BRING EDGES OF FOIL UP, LEAVING SPACE FOR EXPANSION OF STEAM, SEAL WELL WITH DOUBLE FOLD.

Step 3BAKE FOR 1 HOUR. IF DESIRED, MAY BE COOKED ON THE GRILL.
