Ingredients
- 1 can 13 3/4 can chicken or beef broth
- 5 - medium potatoes
- 6 slices bacon, cooked crispy
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (4 oz)
How To Make cheese and bacon potato bake

Step 1Over medium heat bring broth to a boil...reduce heat

Step 2Add potatoes and onion cover and simmer for 5 minutes then drain reserving 1 1/2 cups of broth remove from heat

Step 3Cook bacon to crisp stage and pour out all but 3 Tablespoons of drippings

Step 4Blend flour into reserved drippings..slowly add reserved broth and cook over medium heat, constantly stirring until thickened..pour over cheese until melted

Step 5in greased 2 qt baking dish layer 1/3 each ...potato and onion mixture sauce and bacon repeat twice

Step 6Bake 400 degrees for 35 minutes
