Ingredients
- 1 can yams
- 3-4 tablespoons butter
- - white sugar
How To Make candied yams

Step 1Drain yams and cut larger pieces in half.

Step 2Heat butter in a large skillet on med; add yams. Let yams cook for a few minutes until they begin to brown, then turn over and do the same on this side. When both sides are browned, sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar over the yams and turn over. Do this about 4-5 times with sugar until you have a caramelized effect. Remove and serve immediately.
