Ingredients
- 3 large sweet potatoes
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 stick butter
- water
How To Make candied sweet potatoes

Step 1Peel sweet potatoes and slice into 1/2 inch thick rounds.

Step 2Place enough water to cover bottom of 9x13 pan and lay sliced potatoes in a single layer.

Step 3Sprinkle brown sugar and sugar evenly over potatoes.

Step 4Slice butter and lay on top of sugar.

Step 5Cover with foil tightly and bake at 330 degrees F for 60 minutes. Uncover and spoon sauce over potatoes, then continue to bake for another 15 to 20 minutes.
