Ingredients

  • 12 c
    thinly sliced russet potatoes
  • 2 lb
    sliced provolone cheese
  • 1 pt
    heavy cream
  • 1 pt
    sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp
    granulated onion
  • 3/4 tsp
    granulated garlic
  • ·
    salt & pepper to taste

How to Make Bunyan's Diabetic Cheesy Spuds

Step-by-Step

  1. Spray a 13X9 baking pan with Pam
  2. Add a layer of spuds, just enough to cover the bottom of the pan
  3. Add a layer of cheese slices
  4. Alternate the layers of cheese and spuds until your about 1/2 inch from the top, the last layer should be cheese
  5. Stir the seasonings into the heavy cream and sour cream pour over the spuds & cheese
  6. Bake in a pre heated 350 oven for 45 minutes to an hour or until the spuds are tender
