Ingredients

  • 12 cups thinly sliced russet potatoes
  • 2 pounds sliced provolone cheese
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon granulated onion
  • 3/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • - salt & pepper to taste

How To Make bunyan's diabetic cheesy spuds

  • Step 1
    Spray a 13X9 baking pan with Pam
  • Step 2
    Add a layer of spuds, just enough to cover the bottom of the pan
  • Step 3
    Add a layer of cheese slices
  • Step 4
    Alternate the layers of cheese and spuds until your about 1/2 inch from the top, the last layer should be cheese
  • Step 5
    Stir the seasonings into the heavy cream and sour cream pour over the spuds & cheese
  • Step 6
    Bake in a pre heated 350 oven for 45 minutes to an hour or until the spuds are tender
