How To Make breaded potato wedges
-
Step 1Wash and cut into wedges to thickness of your liking. Place wedges into a bowl of cold water and set in the refridgerator overnight or at least a few hours. Drain wedges and allow to dry and pat with paper towels.
-
Step 2Add all dry ingredients to the flour and mix in shallow container. Whisk egg and milk in a separate container. Bread the wedges in the flour then egg mixture and back into the flour mixture. Allow to dry on a wire rack for 20 minutes.
-
Step 3Time to clean your work area and wash up a few dishes while the wedges are drying. Then start heating your frying oil in a deep pot or deep fryer which is the cooking method I am using.
-
Step 4I had 8 wedges so I will fry a few at a time. Once oil is up to 350° drop a few wedges in and fry for 6 minutes. Then move to wire rack. Then add more wedges to the fryer for 6 minutes. After first Fry add the wedges back to the fryer for an additional 3 to 4 minutes. Drain and they are ready to serve.
