Got my insperration from the book called The Skillet Full. I then made a few changes to the recipe. I make these a lot when a bunch of us guys go on a fishing trip....I have also made these for our church camp outs.

Ingredients
- 5 pounds potatoes,cut into wedges.
- 16 ounces mushrooms,your choice.
- 3 sticks real butter
- 5 cloves garlic,sliced.
- 2 - bay leaves
- 4 - rosemary sprigs,and thyme spris
- - hot sauce to taste
- 1 teaspoon choped basil
- 5 slices bacon
- 3 medium onions
How To Make bob's dutch oven potatoes.

Step 1In a 7qt cast iron dutch oven.Cook bacon till abought half cooked.remove and cut up bacon...Add mushrooms to bacon drippings and cook for 3 to 5 minutes... Now add every thing else to the oven including the bacon.add a pinch of salt and pepper. Give it a stir. Cover and bake for abought 3 hours.

Step 2At abought 2 1/2 hours uncover. Add a little more salt and pepper. Add 1/2 to 1 tablespoon of hot sauce,to tast. Stir and recover and finish baking 1/2 to 1 hour.Or untill tender.
