Bob's Dutch Oven Potatoes.
I then made a few changes to the recipe.
I make these a lot when a bunch of us guys go on a fishing trip....I have also made these for our church camp outs.
- 5 lb
- potatoes,cut into wedges.
- 16 oz
- mushrooms,your choice.
- 3 stick
- real butter
- 5 clove
- bay leaves
- rosemary sprigs,and thyme spris
- hot sauce to taste
- 1 tsp
- choped basil
- 5 slice
- 3 medium
How to Make Bob's Dutch Oven Potatoes.
- 1In a 7qt cast iron dutch oven.Cook bacon till abought half cooked.remove and cut up bacon...Add mushrooms to bacon drippings and cook for 3 to 5 minutes...
Now add every thing else to the oven including the bacon.add a pinch of salt and pepper. Give it a stir. Cover and bake for abought 3 hours.
- 2At abought 2 1/2 hours uncover. Add a little more salt and pepper. Add 1/2 to 1 tablespoon of hot sauce,to tast. Stir and recover and finish baking 1/2 to 1 hour.Or untill tender.
