Ingredients
- 10 - beer bratwurst sausage links
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
- 3 medium red potatoes, diced
- 1 - 24 oz. cans pork & beans, undrained
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 2 tablespoons basil, dried
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
- 2 cans beer, your favorite (regular or non alcoholic)
- 2 teaspoons tabasco or your favorite hot sauce
- - salt & pepper, to taste
- SERVE WITH YOUR CHOICE:
- 1 pound pasta of choice
- 2 cups rice, white or brown
How To Make beer brat casserole

Step 1Cut bratwrust into 1/4" pieces. Fry with oil & garlic in large sauce pan.

Step 2When meat is almost done add onions, green peppers, potatoes & pork & beans. Cook at strong simmer for about 15 minutes.

Step 3Add cumin, basil, salt, pepper & hot sauce. Lightly simmer for about 10 minutes.

Step 4Add beer, bring to a hard simmer, then lower heat to a simmer. Cover the pan & cook for another 10 minutes.

Step 5It is your choice to use pasta or rice. Cook as per directions on package. Spoon pasta in soup bowl then cover with Bratwrust Delight.
