How to Make Baked potatoes with turkey bacon and cream
- Peel potatoes and cube them. Place potatoes in 5 cups of boiling water with 1/2 tablespoon of salt. Boil them until tender but firm, 12-15 min. Drain the potatoes and keep warm.
- In a skilet, melt the 1/2 teaspoon of butter and add the turkey bacon finely chopped. Cook it for 10 minutes in medium heat. Drain any fat. Set aside.
- Grease lightly a 9 by 13 oven mold (any kind). Put half the potatoes and add 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Sprinkle over the potatoes the turkey bacon and 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese. Top the bacon with the rest of the potatoes,the other 1/2 cup of heavy cream, the cup of cheese and the dried cilantro.
- Bake the potatoes at 325 F for 20 min. until the cheese is melted well. Let rest for 10 min. and serve.
