How To Make baked potato and sausage casserole
-
1Peel the potatoes and cut into bite sized pieces. Boil until almost done. While the potatoes are boiling, mix the lg. carton of sour cream and the lg. carton of cottage cheese together with the diced onion (if you have picky eaters that don't like onion, try onion powder). Add salt and pepper to taste. Slice the turkey sausage into bite sized slices, (I cut mine in half also). When the potatoes are done, mix the sour cream mixture, sausage and potatoes together in a large casserole dish. Sprinkle with the cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1/2 an hour until bubbling. Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes. Enjoy! Add broccoli florets for a complete meal idea!
