baked garlic fries
I love these "fries". They are easy and very delicious. I also like them because they are baked and not fried.

Ingredients
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 3 large baking potatoes, scrubbed but not peeled
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, for seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, for seasoning
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
How To Make baked garlic fries
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 450 F.
-
Step 2In a small saucepan, heat the garlic in the oil over medium heat for 2 minutes. Strain the garlic from the oil with a small, mesh strainer. Set both the garlic and the oil aside.
-
Step 3Scrub the potatoes and cut into 1/2-inch sticks. In a large bowl, toss the oil, potatoes and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
-
Step 4Spray a foil-lined baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray and spread the potatoes onto it in a single layer. Bake until golden brown, about 35 minutes.
-
Step 5Remove the potatoes from the tray. Toss with parsley flakes, reserved garlic and additional salt, to taste. Serve immediately.
