This is a family favorite of ours. I came up with the idea trying to find a different way to have potatoes.

Ingredients For bacon fried taters

  • 1/2 pkg of bacon
  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 1/2 onion
  • pepper, garlic powder, italian seasoning and seasoning salt.
  • peppers are optional as well as onion

How To Make bacon fried taters

  • 1
    Cut bacon in tiny pieces, cut potatoes with or without skin(I leave mine on) in small bite size pieces, throw into skillet, add seasoning and mix together. Cook with lid on for 20 minutes on medium heat, checking and mixing as needed. Cook ten minutes without lid until crispy. Cheese may be added.
