- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- salt and pepper
- 1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Step 1Wash the potatoes and cut in half. Place the potatoes in boiling salted water.Simmer until the potatoes are tender. Drain

Step 2Place the butter in a saucepan and melt it over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and make a roux. Cook 2 minutes.

Step 3Add the milk and whisk until thick. Season with salt and pepper. Add the parmesan cheese and cook until it melts.
