Ingredients
- 3 pounds peeled, sliced potatoes
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 9 tablespoons flour
- - salt to taste
- - pepper to taste
- 1 quart milk
- 3 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
- 1 cup cubed cheese of choice
- 1 cup crushed cracker crumbs
- 1 small thinly sliced onion ( optional)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 slices diced bacon
How To Make augraten potatoes

Step 1Layer sliced potatoes and onion in 9x12 baking dish. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and parsley.Put butter in small cubes over potatoes.Place cheese cubes over mixture.Sprinkle with flour.Slowly pour milk over potatoes and top with bread crumbs.Bake at 425 for 5 min. or until milk bubbles. Then bake at 375 for 45-60 min. uncovered.
