Ingredients
- 1 pound bacon
- 1 large onoin,sliced
- 4 medium potatoes,peeled,and sliced
- 1/3 cup rice
- 3 - carrots,sliced
- 4 slices thick sliced ham
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 1 can beer,dark
- 1 stick butter.
- 1 large bell pepper,cut into strips
- 8oz ounces cheddar cheese, shredded,if you like
How To Make 7-layer dinner.

Step 1You will need a 12qt or larger cast iron dutch oven. cut bacon in 1/2. Add butter to bottom of dutch oven. Layer bacon,onion,potatoes,rice,ham,carrots,and strips of bell peppers.Do not mix.

Step 2over all pour stewed tomatoes annd beer. Cover. Set over med-high heat. Cook for one hour. Check for doneness. For the last 15-20 min,sprinkle shredded cheese over top(If you like),cover and cook abought 15 min more.Let cool alittle befor serving.
