  • 1 lb
    uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 4 Tbsp
    tiger sauce,divided
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 c
    shredded colby jack cheese
  • 1
    (4 ounces) cream cheese,softened
  • 2 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1 c
    frozen peas,thawed
  • 3
    banana peppers,chopped
  • 1 c
    crushed salad croutons

How To Make tiger macaroni and cheese?

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Grease a 13- x 9-inch baking dish.

    Cook macaroni according to package directions.

    Melt margarine in a large saucepan over medium heat. Gradually whisk in flour;cook,whisking constantly,1 minute.

    Gradually whisk in heavy cream,half and half and 3 tablespoons tiger sauce until smooth;cook whisking constantly,8 to 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.

    Whisk in cheeses and black pepper until smooth.Remove from heat.Stir in peas,chopped banana peppers and cooked macaroni.

    Pour macaroni mixture into the baking dish.Sprinkle in crushed salad croutons.
