My brother was stationed in Germany and brought this German noodle recipe home. I think this tastes better heated up the second day. You will need a Spaetzle maker (can be found on line) or a round cake pan with 1/2 inch holes drilled in it works too.

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 8 cups water
- - season to tast ( i like dill and garlic powder on mine)
How To Make spaetzle

Step 1Mix ingredients together and let sit for 2 to 3 hours in refrigerator before cooking.

Step 2Bring 8 cups of water to a boil in large pan. Place the pan with holes over the water as it begins to boil. (you can purchase a Spaetzle maker. I found them on line)

Step 3Pour batter over the holes, scraping the batter over the holes until batter falls through holes and into water.

Step 4Let noodles boil for 3 minutes and remove from water. Put some butter on them and serve.
