I like to call this a German Noodle. It is excellent with most German Dishes. Hungarian Goulash is my favorite.

    egg
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 3/4 c
    flour (about)

How to Make SPAETZLE or Eggs Drops

Step-by-Step

  1. Beat egg with salt and water. Add flour and STIR to a smooth batter.
  2. Drop by a teaspoon into boiling water. Simmer gently for 10 minutes or until tender.
  3. Move to a strainer to drain and put on plate. Top with Hungarian Goulash.
