I like to call this a German Noodle. It is excellent with most German Dishes. Hungarian Goulash is my favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 - egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup flour (about)

How To Make spaetzle or eggs drops

  • Step 1
    Beat egg with salt and water. Add flour and STIR to a smooth batter.
  • Step 2
    Drop by a teaspoon into boiling water. Simmer gently for 10 minutes or until tender.
  • Step 3
    Move to a strainer to drain and put on plate. Top with Hungarian Goulash.
