Ingredients
- 12 to 16 ounces macaroni, elbow
- 1 - egg
- 3 cups cheese, shredded (i use a mixture white and yellow cheddar cheeses)
- 1 teaspoon powdered mustard
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 - bayleaf (for flavor)
- 2 big slices onion (for flavor)
How To Make so cheesy mac n cheese

Step 1Add macaroni to boiling water and add olive oil. Boil according to package.

Step 2Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 3While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan.

Step 4Once butter is melted whisk in flour and powdered mustard.

Step 5Add milk,bayleaf,onion,seasoning salt (or paprika). Let simmer for about 5 minutes while it thickens.

Step 6Remove bayleaf. Temper egg. Stir in 2 cups of cheese.

Step 7Drain pasta and pour pasta into casserole dish.

Step 8Pour cheese sauce on top of pasta and stir. Top with leftover cheese. Cover.

Step 9Bake for 25-30 minutes.
