Slow cooked Mac & Cheese
2 can(s)carnation evaporated milk
2 cmilk, 2%
1 boxmacaroni (uncooked)
4 pkg8oz. of different cheese's shredded (for instant, cheddar, sharp, munster, whatever your family likes)
2 smallonion (chopped)
2 clovegarlic (chopped)
1 tspparsley flakes
1/2 stickbutter, unsalted
1/4 tspsalt( low sodium)
1/4 tspwhite pepper
How to Make Slow cooked Mac & Cheese
- Take onion, garlic, pepper, parsley, salt & butter & saute in a pan until the onions & garlic are lightly brown. Don't over cook. Cook for about 5 min.
- While 1 STEP is cooking get your uncooked macroni put it in alG. bowl. Turn your Crock Pot on. Put the evaporated milk, 2% milk, all the shredded cheese's mix well w/the uncooked macaroni. Now put the sauteed onions, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, & butter, mix again very well. Pour all into the Crock Pot.
- Now cook the Mac & Cheese in the Crock Pot for 4 to 6 hrs. What I do is put a timer on if I am @ home. If not @ home you can put it on low for 6hrs. if you are home you can put it on for 4 hrs. on high. Then Enjoy!!!!
