Everyone loves my macaroni and cheese. I got the recipe from my late mother-in-law Crittie.

Ingredients
- 16 ounces package of elbow macaroni
- 1 can cheddar cheese soup
- 16 ounces bag of shredded colby/jack cheese
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 pint of half of half
- 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
- - bread crumbs, buttered
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
How To Make sherice's macaroni & cheese

Step 1Preheat your oven to 350. Cook the macaroni in a large pot until a la dente. Drain macaroni and let cool. Lightly butter a rectangular baking dish and set aside. Combine the half & half, cheddar cheese soup, seasoned salt, black pepper and butter in a sauce pan and cook until the soup is blended and the butter is melted. Set aside.

Step 2In the baking dish, place one layer of macaroni, next sprinkle a layer of cheddar jack cheese. Repeat until you have a least 3 layers (depending on the size of the baking dish). You should end with a layer of cheese on top. Pour the cheddar cheese soup mixture over the macaroni and bake about 30 minutes or until bubbly. Remove from the oven and let it set for 15 minutes, then sprinkle the bread crumbs on top.
