Ingredients

  • 1 pound shell pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup shallots chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup fresh chopped basil
  • salt

How To Make shells with creamy parmesan sauce

  • Step 1
    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until el dente. Drain.
  • Step 2
    In a large pot add the olive oil. Add the shallot and garlic and cook until translucent. Add the wine and let most evaporate. Add the heavy cream and whisk in the sour cream.
  • Step 3
    Add the cheese and let it melt. Taste and season with salt. Stir in the Basil and serve.
