prime fettuccine with sauteed mushrooms
I created another side dish recipe for prime rib. It will be on a fettuccine dish, filled with sauteed mushrooms, and it's inspired by Kinder's prime rib seasoning.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups shaved Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup pine nuts
- 6 tablespoons prime rib seasoning, divided
- 16 ounces uncooked fettuccine
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons margarine, divided
- 6 white button mushrooms, sliced
- 2 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup steak sauce mixed with brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning
- 1 1/2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup fat-free milk
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
How To Make prime fettuccine with sauteed mushrooms

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Coat the bottom and sides of a 13- x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Step 3Add shaved Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and 2 tablespoons prime rib seasoning; mix well.

Step 4Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Transfer to a large bowl. Season with 2 tablespoons prime rib seasoning; toss well until coated.

Step 5Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of margarine in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add sliced white button and shiitake mushrooms and saute for 8 minutes or until browned.

Step 6Stir in 2 tablespoons prime rib seasoning, Dijon mustard, steak sauce/brown sugar, Creole seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes. Remove from the heat. Set aside.

Step 7In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the remaining margarine. Whisk in the flour until completely smooth and let cook 1 minute until golden brown.

Step 8Slowly whisk in the heavy cream, milk, and cream cheese until the mixture is smooth. Season with the remaining prime rib seasoning.

Step 9Bring to a simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes until the sauce is bubbly and thickened.

Step 10Remove the sauce from the heat and whisk in the shredded sharp cheddar cheese until melted. Add cooked fettuccine and sauteed mushroom mixture and stir until combined.

Step 11Pour over a prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
