Ingredients

  • 2 pounds hash brown potatoes, frozen
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons pepper
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 can creamy onion soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups corn flake cereal, crushed
  • 1/4 cup butter

How To Make potato casserole

  • Step 1
    Thaw potatoes and combine with 1/2 cup butter, salt, pepper, onions, soup, sour cream and cheese.
  • Step 2
    Place in a greased 9 x 13 inch casserole.
  • Step 3
    Combine corn flakes and remaining 1/4 cup butter, spread over potato mixture.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
